I just got a shipment from morbark. I haven't opened it yet- but it should be the new cap and an 8" "lift" for the chipper chute. It doesn't shoot high enough right now.

The way it looks now it looks like it would add some restriction with the chips coming through.

Crap. I wouldn't have noticed. Now I can't look at it. It will be fixed on Monday!

Before it was lifted, the flap just contributed to the chips being shot even lower. At the time we "fixed" it by keeping the flap up out of use. It took me about 20 minutes of chipping with the lifted chute to realize we could actually use the flap to our advantage now.

And yes- top of the truck was indeed covered with chips!!
