Is the ultra sling ultra?

Who has one? What do you think?

I like them a lot, way better than whoopies, way faster than dead eyes, just a wee bit less adjustability compared to dead eyes. Really doesn’t make much difference to me if the block or ring is hanging 3 inches lower than a perfectly snugged deadeye.
Dead simple to make too.

I like them. Super fast to install. Can be a little slack at times but I find that negligible for most applications. When those situations arrive I get a dead eye and cow hitch it then. Problem is they require a lot of material to make. Not really a big deal.

I agree. It takes about 20 ft of material to make a 8 or 9 ft sling. But that's not a problem. Easy to make. Quick and easy to install. I still keep plenty of dead eye slings but the ultra is my go to sling.

I have one on a small block. They're quick and easy.

Have one coming from TreeStuff for my soon to be Morgan Block.

They are slick. Keep an extra dead eye for when you need it, but day to day I like ultra slings

Ultra slings are a huge step ahead of a standard dead eye sling. We use these 99% of the time.

I have one coming with a Bend Right ring on it. First rigging thimble and ultra sling I have bought. Looking forward to using them.
