Husqvarna 322L trimmer

I couldnt figure out which sun forum board to post this. So move as needed.

What can anyone tell me about this trimmer? Have one offered to me with broken inner shaft. Owner says it was used with metal tri-blade also.

Husqvarna 322L straight shaft.

I was looking for a trimmer (I could pick up and rebuild etc on the cheap) to pull a metal blade for homeowner use on johnson grass etc.

Man you stihl heads are a lot of help. I went ahead and bought it as a project going by what people said over on my chainsaw repair site. Guy I got it from said he never had to work on it for 12 years of using it, till the solid shaft broke. 1999 tag on it.

Well I tore her down and got the shaft on order. Looking to run a metal blade on it.

I would not run a metal blade on it unless it has handlebars... I also won't run a blade on anything under 40CC.
But I live in brushing hell.
