Real ale is a big thing over here, there are flavours like you wouldnt believe, like a really good white wine. I believe it it growing in popularity on your side of the pond too, even microbreweries popping up here and there.

I only drink microbrew I can't stand the likes of Miller, Bud, Coors that is not beer.

There was mini series of those, three I think.

Tobacco advertising on tv was stopped in 1976, caused a bit of fuss with motor and horse racing as they had to stop showing posters around the tracks.

Not a big fan of the Winter Lager but the Octoberfest is indeed sublime.
