Chainsaw chaps - price an indicator of performance?

Labonville chaps best their is, worth the price, slightly more than the big names but have a higher level of protection. Hunt around youtube there is a video that does a head to head comparison with a saw and a ham. Yep a chap wrapped ham that might seal the deal with your purchase.

For chaps, get wrap chaps, the ones that have the extra bit that go all the way around the bottom half of your leg.

They are a pain to climb in, so if you want all day leg protection for in tree and on ground get some trousers.

I'm wearing Francitals from Tree Stuff, ($199) been out all day in 85+ degrees and 85% humidity and I find them quite bearable, new style stretchy breathable wicking fabrics are the key.

Pfanners are the Rolls Royce of chainsaw trousers but really, really nice...$300
