That has never happened here. Besides, all they have to do is reregister - they aren't banned. I'd never expect any forum to hang on to me for 5 years if I was a zero poster.
 
Just to poke around I guess. I love to read here and learn. I've learned a lot.

And even though I don't feel I have a lot to contribute on the technical side of things I still enjoy the conversation.
 
Personally, it takes a while to get a sense of where I am. There is a good relationship here among friends and regular posters. Knowing peoples tolerance for humor or advice, is important in sharing in that. I just prefer not to lead with my mouth..........Bill
 
I learn every time I "check in". :)
For me personally, I'm not a big "conversationalist". I like to watch and listen. I've always been able to learn more that way.
And to be very honest, I know I've said it before, but I'm "a bit" intimidated to jump in and share because I know so little/lack experience compared to most everyone else here. :roll:

Thanks again Butch, and I take your encouragement to heart, just have to work within my own comfort zone. I see skills here that demand respect, and admiration. Hell I'm barely qualified to drive the crummy for some of these folks. Respect is an investment you have to pay into before you see the dividend, and that may take me some time.....Bill
 
I do enjoy the Treehouse despite not posting much, and Butch & Bonner were certainly friendly in welcoming me here. (which didn't happen elsewhere, with the exception of Tom D's help getting logged in on the Buzz).
I find myself posting more on Arboristsite, I reckon because it was the first tree forum I found / joined, but it is fun to poke around various ones, as time permits.
 
I'm banned from AS for no other real reason other than I started this place. I have over 10,000 posts at there and at least a dozen 5 star threads there. Tom Dunlap banned me from TB just because he found out I didn't like him much and didn't want a visit from him, which he wanted to do.

Butch I guess if you worked at an auto plant, and the boss found out you were starting a rival car co., he might have a semi-legit concern with your existence on his turf. I dunno.

It requires a little bit of progressive thinking if you want to stay up with the times regarding the internet. People say that they want to live in a free world, but then the old fashioned human frailties rise to the surface, like greed, possessiveness, and undue censorship, and it spoils what could be a great long lasting and meaningful party. Someone starting a rival car company in your small populated town is one thing to get unsettled about, but there are more than two billion potential visitors to your site these days. No reason to cry and kick your feet over the small stuff, or feel threatened so you have to target anybody. Too bad you can't put a little courage in a coffee mug.

Dont be a stranger Bill. The Treehouse is one of the best groups of people you can find anywhere. The House has been there for me in ways I never could have guessed.

Besides my wife and dogs I can relate everything good thats happening in my life right now to the TH, Thanks Butch!
