    No, I have a big metal yey spliced in the termination of the rope, for a clevis. Other end I have a specially build Porta wrap, massive, heavy and super strong.

    Same as Amsteel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra-high-molecular-weight_polyethylene#Fiber Knots totally reduce the strength of it, like up to 90%. We use a 22 ton Dyneema rope when we really pull trees. Gotta be super careful how you attach it, but then it far surpasses the steel wire rope...
