Highly unusual felling cut
I've felled some tree on slopes before where I didn't want them to slide down hill so I put an oversized face cut in it. The tree hits the ground before the face closes so it stays attached. Not sure how long that would last though. I imagine the tree would settle itself in the ground long...- Page
