Falling on steep slopes
The tethering would be a good application for one of the newer high mod lines. A dyneema or vectran sling can be easy to work with, and if it does break, you don't have to worry about recoil. I've never had the need to tether a trunk, but it's worth remembering! love nick- NickfromWI
