Did my first big dismantle today using srt and have to say brilliant really getting in to it now.

Broke the rule today and left a few short Stubbs , I was having a job getting a grip with spikes with so much dead ivy higher up and they gave me something to get a grip on.

Repollarded 7 limes today , all those long straight stems were great for chipping

I use the spider jack , and it's very smooth once you get used too it , it is a different climbing style and didn't really like it for the first week now I love it.now getting into srt which I found really awkward to start with it felt alien after years of drt but now I think it's brilliant.

A petrified pidgeon went through the chipper today, it had dried solid onto a branch .

Had a great day beat the rain job done and cleared up , then on the way back tire burst on the chipper but the good thing was we were turning into the yard. Had a new one fitted so ready to go in the morning.
