Butch. My PM to you failed. I can only post here because my phone has the password stored. I can't change my password without the old password. Consequently, my posts are typo-ridden. typos and such are complements of my phone

    Ropetek Wraptor...your experiences, value

I did a big fir the other day. God Bless the Wraptor. That's different than the rapture, for sure. After topping it. I thought, I could let the top handle, and pull up the bigger saw...nah, go take a break and ride up with the saw. If it had a raise and lower mode, it would be wicked. I spent...

    Lightweight rigging line?

I think I'd go the other way, using a stretchy rope, since there is less in the system.

    Left-handed triggering?

Saws are designed for predominantly right hand on the trigger. The lefty I knew, cut his pants once and chaps once.

    The Alpine Magnum stump grinder

The stabilizers would be a bit closer for roots on three sides, whereas the tripod would be better (he said, theorizing on the couch).

He's going to put his new backhoe to work, for a good part of a day, he says, and do the final pulling with his knuckle boom.

Knocked down a Doug fir for a friend. Wood will go to a friend of his. He wanted big logs. Wood racks were expendable, but Just missed. Lucky today.. Let Erik get some Ogre time. Dumped the butt... Rusty at double- cutting, but fit it in.

Nice work. The green laser is very visible at that range... Very effective. How is it at 50-60'?

    How'd it go today?

Beautiful, Jay. Going to wreck out a good sized fir for a friend over his shop. See how the Wraptor mixes things up. 180 degrees clear, 180 degrees over the shop. Tree has suffered excavation damage on the shop side, so a significant amount less of full, live branches. Wind and rain have...

I hear that last bit, from my forays with 40/ week, and biz on the side, and one young one.

    How far will you travel?

About 20 miles with chip truck and chipper. Put on ground only, or onsite disposal (driving a loaded pick up), I would go farther.

I'm posting from my phone. I thought it would have the Tapatalk signature, and that would be self evident, but I was wrong. Posting from my phone, I can see three short lines of text, so it's easy to miss typos and auto correct Screw ups. That makes it that much more confusing. I like the big...

    Saw snaps or caritool?

I like a small, taped-"open" biner. You can remove the tape if you need it to close more securely. Like a hook. I use breakaway lanyards. I don't care for caritools so much.

Can you reset my pass word? I don't know why the password help won't accept "Noah".
