Drop Load Test! A real classic. Unfortunately video quality in those days wasn't so good, but the story line is rich and lives on. I think it would be a fine thing to re-do that stunt in Hi-def.

For climbing, I vote for Tahune :

I found it when I was just beginning to be serious in climbing. It greatly impressed me. Actually, it does the same now. It puts in perspective what you can do and what's doable. Very humbling.
Of course I'm amazed too by other sketchy trees vids (and many other not sketchy at all too) but this one came at the right time for me to take the first place.
