One of my climbers back when...
We used 3/8ths dowels on throw line so they hung on the saddle as the chunk went. Basically roll it away and park the saw on top of the spar so as not to have weight hanging on you. Less fatigue.
That an 066 with a 36 bar. I finished it for him when he ran out of steam.

Can't see what's below but that would be worth setting a pull line and taking bigger pieces if feasible?

Fire wood went into a gully under the house. Full of rocks and steep. Other option was no option. County park. County would not allow it felled onto their parcel. HO and a friend harvested the rounds by splitting them at the base of the draw with maul and wedge. Next to his drive way, after rolling the rounds down hill. Safer for everyone involved.
And a shit ton less work than trying to get those logs out. Crane that we had access to was just too little to ppick the pieces out. House was in reach of the last 30 plus feet of stem.
Brush we were allowed to zip line to a tree on a bank above the park parking lot, toss the material off the bank and chip on his driveway access

This tree we could get to. Just below the house on the side of the gully. The other was up the hill a ways, but on the other bank.
