Stihl bar stud question.

A friend snapped one bar stud on his 056....just wanted to know if Stihl used loctite or something similar on them before we got going on removing it.

Never had a problem removing one other than by turning it. They sell stud removers if you encounter difficulty.

I use it when I put them back otherwise you pull the studs back out when trying to de-nut.

Put two nuts on and without bottoming out tighten them together. Then you can turn the stud in or out.

Thanks guys! My biggest worry was getting the old one out, turns out it snapped off at the end of the threads. Shouldn't be a problem, probably get to it first of the week.
