You may remember this saw, I bought it from a friend a few weeks ago. It cuts pretty slow, so I put in some special fuel to give it that street bike sound, and tons more torque. It cuts 3 times faster now, a HUGE improvement. After lots of running and tuning it back to gasoline, I went to see how much gas was left and it sprayed worse than mentos in cola. Do these saws have a tank pressurizer or was I just boiling gas? Anyway here's the link: https://youtu.be/TZqvXCK8Mi8

Dang dude!!! You're an awsome redneck! Redneck zip-job if ever I saw one!!!

We'll git that pig to run one way or t' other!

Did you watch the whole thing? The first clip was it taking 50 seconds on normal gas, and yes a dull chain. I did the normal gas run after the nitro runs, and forgot to check the chain sharpness. It still cuts super slow on gas. The second clip was a 17 second cut on nitro fuel, and you can hear it has plenty more power. I was using more pressure in that cut and it still kept the rpm up. Remember it has a tiny chain, so either way it's slow.

The nitro might be able to pit the cylinder and hurt the plug if it isn't tuned right, so I'm leaving it a gas burner until I get my pine trees down. It might be dead by then because that's hours more use on it's life.

Around 35 plus years ago my brother in law thought nitro fuel was the cats meow.He was always a little miffed because my dad and I could always out run him with our McCullochs .

Soooooo he nitroed up a 10-10 Mac which ran like a scalded ape for all of about 15 minutes until it grenaded the piston .Who won that round ?

No fun in letting it sit around. Who knows, maybe I'll find the right nitro mix and needle setting to get a few hours out of it.

I've had a few Chinese Husqvarna 365 saws, a few not because they were bad, but because I needed money at the time and sold them. My latest one was nowhere near as good. It was tuned super rich, but leaning it still wasn't nearly enough. It did come with an "Oregon" chain exactly like a super RS which is durable and aggressive already, but I filed the depth gauges and now run on about 101 octane with around 1.5% nitro, and it's equal to or better than an ms390. I was beating my friend's ms 390 (which I had topped off with my same fuel) today on 20" oak log, but I think a little might have to do with operating skills. I shouldn't be surprised at my 65cc beating a 64cc except without closely comparing them I've always thought the ms 390 ran like a husky 372. So, I don't think nitro is all that bad if you keep the quantity small, 1% shouldn't hurt, but makes a huge improvement with no tuning needed. I think you can go up to 5% with no tuning. I think my saw would now be competition to a 372. I'd upgrade to the 76cc engine, but I don't know if the Chinese parts are compatible. I'd probably trust 2% in a real husky now. If I can find a more than good price on a 395 and can afford it at the same time.
