Thanks for the reminder. I wonder if we'll ever abolish this arcane ritual?

Tomorrow for me. It's 4:30 AM here Saturday morning, but it's still "Friday" for me, as I've been up all night tying flies. My Saturday hasn't begun yet.

Dang, 'spring forward' came up fast... and the dreaded Easter Holiday is only two weeks away.
I'd like to declare a new holiday... the "Spend No Money Unnecessarily Day". Holidays always compute to $$$.

I'm like an alley cat, nothing gets me. You can't build up an immune system if your'e not exposed to it.Good heavens I shoveled hog chit, worked in sewage treatment plants ,buried dead sheep by the hundreds.None of that got me .

Then again, you never know, the plaster might fall off the ceiling and break my neck.Right at a crucial moment too, without any further details relating to the matter.Oh would I hate that.

Why is it a dreaded day? :?
With 3 kids, it has always equated to money I don't really have. Plus dealing with 'family'... Atleast the kids are older now & I don't have to deal with eggs, baskets, etc., etc. I've just never enjoyed Easter or Christmas.
On the upswing, it means SPRING is almost here !!! YAY !

thats some shitty memories then TC. :(
Holidays are what you make them, not what you buy. In my eye. Guess I get to learn now that there is a young'un in the house.

BTW, I have always loved the Cadbury commercials with the bunny that clucks like a chicken :D

Maybe it would help to focus on the REAL reason for the season. It's NOT about chocolate bunnies and colored eggs.
