I hope the chain of abuse stops with him and that his victims get the counseling they need so that they don't end up like him.

sick man should be lubed up an tied face down to his bunk!! by the time a couple of hundred inmates have had there way he'd know what abuse felt like!!
I'm afraid if he'd touched 1 of my children he would never have made it to court, just to the bottom of the nearest lake i could find!!

yeah sorry for all the venom, i've got 2 little girls and a baby on the way this sort of thing cuts me to the core!!

Found it through people mentioning you on arbtalk, love this site everyone seems to be on the same track here, friendly and informative.

Happy dayz

Personally I wish they wasnt going to single cell him for his protection. BS, I would put in in a cell with Bouncing Betty. ;)

The man does seem a bit twisted. He couldn't keep his sexual urges under control, that sort of thing manifests everyday all over the world, probably one reason there are wars and things, but then he needed to write love letters to the young boys on top of it.....the guy appears more like a nut case than anything else. His brain must have something gone awry. For all practical purposes, his life has pretty much ended with the verdict. I'd give him the option of being put to death.

him and his wife will have their day in front of the great one for their final judgement, and then they will pay

the inmates will get him eventually just like that fellow that killed and ate his victims, cant remember his name, but they threw him off the teir and killed him

how bout the other trial going on right now for father jerry who raped kids and was just beat up in his nursing home, i wouldnt have beat him, i woulda given him a shot to the head...but once again judgement will come

Oh I'd imagine "Bubba " will get a hold of that guy .

What will happen more than likely is the conviction will be appealed ,long drawn out deal .Some extremely rich alumini of Penn State will foot the legal bill .Watch it ,I bet I'm not too far off .

Without being too disguisting, I hope that he is "mistreated" by someone that is well endowed. Just so for once in his life he can understand the physical pain he caused on other humans. The anatomy of children and adults are not proportioned equally as we all know. The emotional agony he caused was bad enough, but for a select few innocent children, his actions had to be physically brutal to endure. What the hell goes so wrong in a man's mind that he allows himself to rape a child? This is a difficult topic to fathom. I've understood what has caused certain humans to take others lives. I've understood what has driven people to steal. I've understood what has caused people to commit many crimes. I'm not saying I agree or condone those things, just that I understood the driving factors. But I've never, ever, been able to wrap my mind around what has caused men to violate children. I don't know if its a mental disorder, a perverted thrill, or a form of rebellion.....? No matter how you cut the cake, I do believe castration for certain offenders would be a safeguard from future offenses.

It's amazing how violent and vengeful humans are capable of being when they feel justified in their vengeance. This entire thread disturbs me.

I basically knew about the ongoing investigation months before it went down .Just not the entire details .My wifes cousin who lives in State College Pa knew of something big going down that would shake Penn State to it's very core and she was correct .

In addition to the injustices done to those young boys the university suffered a great humilation and their credability will suffer as a result of that .

It would not surprise me that as a result of the criminal charges there will be many cival suits also .A lot of heads will roll before this one is over .

Brian, you are right. But as a parent, attacks on children bring out the worst feelings in you. It's because for a moment, you tend to picture your child as the recipient of those crimes. Without having kids, its impossible to understand those deep and powerful feelings. I was never able to understand until life tasked me with caring for 2 kids of my own.

Aside from that, I can't imagine how a person couldn't feel a lust for violence against a grown man that rapes a small child. That's brutal man.

Well I do not know any of the people involved, they are just faceless names to me. I don't get emotional about children starving in Africa or political activists being tortured in China, either. I guess I try to save that energy and emotion for people I actually know. I can understand the families of those involved being upset to the point of rage, but I don't understand how just a news story can bring out those emotions in completely unrelated people who have no skin in the game.

I got ya. I don't bug out over things that seem far away to me usually. I could care less about most nameless faces. This case is local to me though. It's close to where i live, and centre county was the home of my greatest childhood memories at our family cabin. I hear centre county now, and as a result of all the media coverage from the courthouse there, I now revert right to the idea of jerry sandusky banging kids.

The Sandusky activity is one thing, but this case also shows how the powers at the school put their positions and certain reputations in front of what might be very undesirable things happening to kids, and with very possible long term consequences. One could assume that they were smart enough, and in positions to offer protection, but didn't. Sandusky is probably a lunatic pervert, but those other people are not, just selfish beyond what is a normal measure. It's the same deal with the church hierarchy regarding priests abusing kids, showing their true colors about what was important to them. The school is now saying that they want to settle the civil suits asap, throw money at it and it will go away like a bad dream.

I wonder about that too especially when there is little mention about what could or should be done to help the victims. We all want to chime on how to punish the villain but cleaning up his mess is too much like work.

For me it's not so much just the Sandusky deal, I mean yea, it's a fcked up situation and what not, but what disrupts me more is the fact that so many people knew about it and didn't say a word. I mean hell, the coach caught him raping some kid in the locker room, and instead of bashing his skull in he walked out and just reported it, where it was never investigated and pretty much swept under the rug. WTF!! Dude, that's like watching someone about to slit some kids throat, walking out, and just reporting it instead of charging in there to save the guy. They need to just give the chair to so many of these low lifes and be done with it, instead of wasting all the money that we know will be wasted on not only the Sandusky trial, but also the many civil cases they say will follow regarding this. They said it'll be years and millions of dollars before it's finally all settled and done.

Civil cases are paid for by the loser. Penn State will be taking a big hit as they should. Still when something happens, it's happened and you cannot go back in time and undo it. Help the survivors and try keep this sort of thing from happening again.

Take it you have no children of your own then fella??

Which is in what way germane to the discussion?

Darin has a lovely daughter, but I don't see him joining the chorus of "lets see how old testament /Koran like we can make the punishment"

Y'all are sounding a lot like Erik used to.
