I don't find that size of saw very useful myself. I have a woods modded 361(EHP) and it runs fine and dandy but I'll just go straight from a 200t to my modded 460 now. On the ground I only ever use the 361 if for some reason a 46 isn't available.

I am wanting some thing with more pop than a 200 but light. Some thing I can use on TDs but not as heavy or big as 372 or 046.

This 562 seems to fit this.

I hear what you're saying and understand that people do that but I run the longer bar on the 200t and when that sucker is starting to struggle I find it much more satisfying despite the weight to weild something that just slays it. I guess what I'm saying is when I move up from the 200t I'm not just looking for a little more oomph I want to slice and dice. I did often go to the 361 before I got my modded 460 though. I probably only really skip that 361 over now because my TW460 is just straight up ass-kicking, I've never ran anything like it.

I wonder has anyone modded a 562?

My tree season is up and going good now and in short time I'm gonna buy the 562XP. I don't even use my muffler modded 346 anymore, just grab the 272XP-16". My 372-22" and 395-32" do the rest.
Since I sent my MS200 of to Tasmania my 338XPT has been running flawlessly pulling the 14" .325 NK chain. This little Husky is a real runner and I have a good feeling the 562XP will be also.

I run a 16" on my primary 200. The other 200 that always goes with me sports a 14".

I have run the 562. This was I believe during the time some had still not been returned from a recall back to dealers.
I loved it! But I held off buying one because of the recall & based on what some were saying.

But after looking into it presently & after talking with some of our nations biggest saw shops it seems that all is well with the 562 as it now stands.

A saw that is not hanging from my saddle but being used from a bucket. Would probably be the biggest saw I have with the shortest bar that worked for that job.

We run a 200t with a 12" bar for bucket work on canopy raises and deadwood, and 16" on our 200t climbing saw, at SP. I like it. Its less wrist strain (not that we'd ever one hand it to cut and chuck;)). It works well. We have a Husky 346xp with a 20" for the jump up from the 12" bar when we need it, then a ms441 with a 28" if we are bucket wrecking. I like the progression. When we are doing bucket work for clearance, we usually go for hours at a time, swapping out the operator every tank, while the other guy moves and re-sets the outriggers at each campsite or section of road.

...my Husky Dealer just sent me home with a 562 to run ... nice! ... although I have to return it in a few days, I Love the balance and reduced width so I will buy one shortly

The 2 series are simply world class saws. No question about it. Think about it, 272, 288, 242, 2100, 268, etc. Those are incredible tools.
A little derail from the 562 model but Chris here is a few more pics of my new 272XP, I may have to wait a bit longer before I buy the 562 with the fun I'm having with this 20 yr old saw.
I weighed both my 372 at 14.2 lbs and the 272 at 14 even [powerheads only]. The lead weight I dug out of the 272's chain brake lever was heavy, so were the dual steel dogs and even saved a little weight with the HD air filter. Gained a few ounces by replacing the 7T rim with the 8T though.

But I'm thinking of putting the lead weight back in , it was there for a reason to make the interia trip action work on the chain brake. This hyper saw gets a little squirrely sometimes when limbing big hardwoods with the short bar flying back up at you.
