Horrific Mountain Rescue

Don't know if this has been posted here before, but I remember seeing this video 4 years ago and being horrified by it. I was hoping that it was a fake, but it sure looks real to me. If it is, than that's a terrible way to have to die.

I have so much respect for our Mountain Rescue Services, a lot of them who put their lives on the line (literally) to save some people who obviously have no business even climbing to begin with.

Oh I'm sorry to bring up a past tragic death/s like this. I would really like to know the story behind this.

Yeah, a backup line may have prevented this tragedy or not?

No problem, Chris, anyone that had seen it before would likely know what was going to happen, so their choice whether to watch again. That one sure stuck in my mind.

Yeah, that's a great movie and an even better book. A great story about grit and survival.
