Leon, do you think it should be? Why? I think it is only for tending the HH. Correct me if I am mistaken.

If it was life support rated you could clip your terminal end of climb line to it when climbing DRT. It would be sort of like a hitchclimber arrangement.

Yes. I have been struggling with orientation of my terminal end. For now I just clip it to my bridge. Not perfect by any means.

I do this with a tied 5mm Tech Cord tether. I don't know if it will work well that short. My tether is longer, but I need to make it even longer so that the biner don't interfere with the hitch. Maybe shorter will not interfere.
