Help with Tenex

Tenex, Yalex, T-rex, Nerex. All about the same I think? Hollow braid 12 strand polyester. Same except for that core... It has to add some strength, even if it's a teeny bit. Who stitches eyes on12 strand hollow braids though?
Wonder if that Nerex is still made since Teufelberger bought New England Ropes.

Hey, Jonny! Thanks for that piece of information. I'm not sure whether or not I'd ever heard of that happening. If I did, I'd forgotten about it, so I appreciate you mentioning it. I'll have to look at New England Rope's lineup, and follow along to see how things change going forward. Cheers.

After having a read it's only there to keep the rope round and has no relation to strength, you can pull it out and splice as normal.
