FT. Bragg Spruce

My friend Steve and I met up with Jerry in Ft Bragg today.

It was a beauty day,
Jerry showed us a beauty of a pumpkin 237',
Spruce with a static line already set at 130 or so, nice thoughtful perch too.
Saw a raven nest with fledgelings or ravenettes. The mother was pissed.

Super fun day, great little breakfast spot.
Jerry showed us a great time.

Forgot to mention SRT is difficult at best if your rig is not right, as mine was not.

Steve luckily enough was able to use Jerry's cadillac system, Steve said it was effortless.

That tree is great for filming because their is a steep hill right next to it. So the filmer can spot film the whole trunk

Glad to have more people up in the Giant Spruce at Jughandle Creek.

It was a real priviledge to climb that tree with you guys, way back when. If there had been a climbibng log, it would have had a number of treehousers on the registry.

Believe it or not,, I'm typing this at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel right now. Must be time for a vacation.
