I saw an ad for it somewhere, Popular Mechanics, probably. I have a Bostich Palm nailer. It works well. I'd bet the battery wouldn't last long, nailing takes a lot of energy, no matter the technique.

I'm pretty sure it's just for those oddball ones that a regular hammer can't get to.

I found a YouTube of it, about 1:40 he gets around to showing it. He's not kidding, joist hangers in weird places are a pain. Did 40 of them up in the peak of a roof last winter, that's why I bough the palm nailer. Looks like it actually works well.
