Try it you might like it. It’s messy but if you have machines to do the clean up it’s not bad.

Chips too can come in handy.

Try the builders bag with rakings, sawdust and chips.

You will be surprised how well they work and little to no clear up at the end as they are all in the bag already.

We had a spare trailer full of tires: tractor to small auto size, that we would stack to about four or five feet tall and then place plywood over - dropped massive trunks across drives that way with no damage. Now with the crane there are years of vine growth over that trailer out back of the farm.
