Anyone in a band or play an instrument?

You don't need to be able to read music to throw down.

Have you ever considered buying a 5 string bass string set, then tossing the G?

Of course you'd want to check the Hz capabilities of your pickups and what ever amplification your using.

Jim, if you can use Skype, I'd be happy to help start you off on guitar.

Thinking about you bass players here at the BBQ.

Fellow is playing a 1952 Kay....said they found itt in a barn 10 yrs ago

May have just landed a job playing rhythm guitar for a trio with the lead and bass players here.

Should be getting some songs to work on in the next couple days, then I'll try out next month sometime.

Love that rockabilly. Cool Dave! Never thought that I might know someone on the inside.

Did an unrehearsed set with some old bandmates last night. Hadn't picked together in about 15 years. One is visiting form Portland OR, and we all just happened to run into each other at a festival yesterday. What a blast to get to visit and pick with these guys again!

Had to borrow the bass from a friend as I didn't have mine along...
