In The News...

Hang him high. Bruce rauner has his ugly mug in ads they run here every 5 min... Can't wait to vote him out. He's held our state hostage for 3 years so far trying to pass right to work crap.

I should know this, but, 'right to work' generally refers to anti union stuff?

Yup. Rauner has refused to pass a budget since he's been in, trying to use it as leverage. It hasn't worked

Yup, more or less. It is where you can elect to pay dues or not too. It basically goes after the unions source of income, which is then used for all sorts of stuff like bargaining contracts. In the past, since everyone benefited from the contract, everyone had to pay. This eliminates that and makes "free riders" a possibility. It's commonly called the right to work for less, and it's proven to lower incomes of the states that have it. I would suspect that a nationwide rtw law would happen with the current administration, if not worse. So when everyone is bitching about me bitching about the rich elites screwing over the working class, this is but one front.

Rebubs in MI passed it here a few years ago. Several States have had it come up.

What Kyle suggests is not at all out of the ball park.
We are already 1/2 way there Nationally

Give him another chance.

Interesting to me that you said that so readily.

Been thinking about it. You might have something there.

Safe assumption that there is no one perfect human, whether he's running for office or not. So, if you posit Grietens was a generally good person with a good number of positive attributes before he gave in to temptation, and then afterward he realizes what a huge F up he made, and if he learns and matures from the mistake, then you essentially have a new and improved version of the already solid guy you had before. If no second chance is given then an excellent option has been lost.

Maybe. But what do you say about the premise.

There is no one on earth who is perfect, has no skeletons. So that leaves us with giving second chances?

if the president can allegedly rape his wife as well as pay off a porn star to not tell her story I see no problem with a governor with maybe not as much financial means allegedly taping a married women to exercise equipment. who needs standards anymore.
