    I Should Be Dead, LOL

Probably right, Chris. I can't much picture it being a cherished memory. It's at least too bad that I never had the chance to bring it up.

    I Should Be Dead, LOL

I wish my dad hadn't died before i was old enough to give him a counter that would have knocked him on his ass. I mean screw his bad day at work, it had nothing to do with me. i'm all for respecting your elders, but there comes a point... On the other hand, maybe I would still be regretting it?

    I Should Be Dead, LOL

Max, I think it is a somewhat complex issue. Bad behavior tends to replicate itself, as you suggest, but it also can teach. My father could get a bit physically abusive at times when he was work stressed. By the time I was eleven, I was already telling myself that if I ever had a family, I...

    I Should Be Dead, LOL

When you need it is cool. When you don't, frig that. I almost got hit by a train while on my bike, and dad saw it and gave me the strap. Imagine beating up a kid for doing that not on purpose, and that is already shaking. One of my first lessons in life not being fair.

That vid was spot on about playing outside all day and everyday after school until dark, or past it when you might hear your name shouted. Aside from the baseball kids, I seldom see younguns outside any more. I don't have a clue what they are doing.
