Right on! I got a couple more things planted myself. Carrots and some zucchini and squash! Things are going slowly though. The weather has been crap. I would gladly send some of my rain your way this year.

Well I got my boxes levelled and filled and plunked in maters, onions, peppers, cauliflower, and cucumbers so far. Hopefully they go!

Jim, hard to see but I got overripe hay in the field now just waiting for a dry spell to get cut.

Better get on it Jim! I picked up my cedar yesterday and made a box! I know, amazing carpenteering skills. Then I made a couple more and laid them out. Still gotta level them with some rocks if I'm going to to leave them there. I got enough wood to make seven in total. But the plan is to...

I'm running late on all my projects/infrastructure. But I had to work with the weather and go about things in a logical manner. Also everything is behind this year so I'm sorta almost on time.

It's pouring here right now so kind of a crap pic. But I got cucumbers and maters just dying to get into some real dirt!

I pay everyone and for everything with cash as much as I possibly can. Just my small thanks to the government for auditing me. Lol.

Cool. Well I'm gonna box up the area that was our little veggie garden by the barn I took down. Still got to lay it all out. I was going to try and use some reclaimed wood but figure I don't really want to use old weathered wood for something that will presumably be trying to rot away like mad...

Anyone here do raised garden beds? I'm going to plunk a few in where my Old barn was. Atleast thinking to fill them up with the strawberries, get 'em up off the ground.

Nice Willie. Is it still your father in law doing the garden or is it yours now?

Cool. I get regularly poisoned with kale. Bleh. Not bad when properly disguised. If I grew it I might feel differently about it.

We reach 100f+ around here in the summer. Will be 90+ today. A/C, really? I open windows at night and close them during the day, not a single a/c unit in my house. My wife stuck my 'mater plants in the ground a couple of days ago. I hope they do well!

I've got all the usual garden staples this year as well as about 60 head of garlic that are about to come ready soon. Our first garlic crop, I can hardly wait. We've already been enjoying lettuce/spinach from our own garden, we stagger planting and location throughout the year to extend our...
