    No Steve, I was going to have it put on a band mill, but at 32" wide it wouldn't fit so I cut it as straight as I could with the chainsaw then used an electric handplane to get it sandable.

    Yes, this is mine! I think I am going to have to sand again, the epoxy seems to have swollen up a little since I moved it under the bed in the warmer house. Not a biggie, just annoying being that close and having to work it again!

    I found my solution! Mod Podge, http://www.plaidonline.com/mod-podge/brand/home.htm Waiting for the first batch to dry now. I figure if it can take acrylic paint, it can take Poly.

    So the SIL wants to display my coffee table at the women's show in her booth. I planed it back down then sanded and started finishing it again, I hope it doesn't move much more in the next month! Got it down and looking good. I tried filling in some rough places with saw dust and glue mixed...

    I have an electric hand plane, that's how I got it where I could use the belt sander, the used an orbital sander to finish. Sanding it down isn't that big of an issue for this. But it sounds like I need to get some more of these rounds, cut them down, dry and see which ones will be usable.

    So how the Hell do I seal this and keep it from cracking, like it's trying to do now? I've got a coat of poly on both sides and holding the garage temp around 60deg. Do I need to sand through the poly and start rubbing like Hell with tung oil?
