I have one of these, http://www.hamradio.com/detail.cfm?pid=H0-006327, waterproof, light lots of operating modes and has a great wide band receiver. but I would NEVER recommend it to anyone but the most serious of HAM operators. It's a real pain in the ass to use and operate! Unless you really...

True, but I can't put a delivery van in the storm shelter Erik! Or I can't store enough booze and the family at the same time. I'm bad, but even I have to draw the line now and again!

Sorry Brian, there just isn't a manly way to say I carry tampons around! Jeff informed me of that trick, carry tampons and duct tape, slows the bleeding if you cut yourself with a saw.

I got it Stig, that was sarcasm as well! TP is in the storm shelter, the bucket that everything is in has a lid and turns into a toilet. Not the most hospitable, but usable for sure! I also carry three rolls of TP in the truck with my bag of tampons.

This is a dual purpose bag, it goes with me when I go to cut wood, 100 miles from home, 20 miles from the closest town. Because of the drug culture that has moved into that area I don't go out there unarmed, it's so bad out there if they can't steal it, they break it just so you can't have it! I...

Before I went completely off the deep end, I started putting together a BOB/emergency bag. (BOB= Bail out bag) I'm sure I've touched on this before but can't find a thread, and if I missed it I am sorry. Basically the weather this spring spooked me bad. We have enough food and water to survive...
