Thanks Willie, that explains it the best. And no, the largest saw I have run is the 046 with a 32". I've had it push with the 25" on it, it was controlable. But certainly not pleasant! This is why you ask, now I know LOTS of reasons it's a bad idea:D

Just a firewood cut here, but what is wrong with cutting down half way, then just cutting up to finish it? It can, and does catch on the top, but limits bar pinching.
