These days its usually just me and one other man. The guy that I work with 95% of the time is my good buddy Markus. He covers all the ground duties and is a true artist at his job. He has been my very good friend since we were little kids, and we have killed a lot of trees together. Not a lot...

z Yea, I am just so comfortable with some spurs and a flip-line that the only thing I feel would make things easier and quicker for me is a shiny new wraptor. I have used a wraptor about a dozen times and it is an amazing tool. I am not quite ready to spend the $ yet and I think I can handle...

First It allows me to haul ass to the first limb, drop my flip-line and free climb through the limbs while getting belayed right to the top if I need to. It also allows me to be much more aggressive when I am spurring up because I know I am not gonna eat some bark if I gaff out. This setup...

It was my 1st day on the SpiderJack but i loved it. I preset my line whenever I can using a APTA. Sometimes I will go out on a Sunday afternoon and set a few lines for upcoming trees and just leave throw lines in them until we do the job.

I have an old FMC/Wayne chuck and duck chipper we use for brush cleanup. 99% of the time we blow the chips in the woods or into a backstop so the clients can use the chips. I always take to logs if they are of any value.

Someone recently gifted me a pair of Forester Arborist Chainsaw Pants and they are super comfy and baggy just the way I like. Now I won't ever have to feel the pain of burying a chainsaw in my leg ever again, and they are kind of padded in the shin area and give an added layer of comfort in...

No ear protection for me and my hearing is still good. Other than my shiny new chainsaw climbing pants I don't do PPE. The only time I ever got really hurt was a very long time ago (38 yrs ago) when I was wearing a helmet, ear protection, eye protection, chaps, ect. I was so isolated from my...

Samson 3 strand Pro-Master 5/8” rope with the larger Rock Exotica Rockgrab 90. It?s a great setup for the type of trees I work with. 3 strand has always been my favorite rope for flip-lines and splicing your own makes it very cheap.

The limb cuts you see when I top the tree are mine and will be in the edited vid of the whole tree. The trees we removed were on the house-side edge of the grove and were probably limbed up (way to far) for sun and safety. I have been using Safety Blue forever and a run a 150 ft, 300 ft, and a...
