Depends on the level of performance you desire.
to me translates into hoi polloi...nothing wrong with that.
Personal drive and how one wants to interact with their world is a large part of it.
I was doing a lot of pushups at 1 point in my training...not enough back muscle work. I started getting rounded shoulders. Took a massage therapist to figure it out...proper massage and adding seated rows etc. straightened things out.
Not for agility type balance...a climber better already have that.
For strength balance....improperly balanced opposing muscle groups can cause alignment/postural anomalies.
