Took another look at it and appreciate soemone pointing it out.. I missed it because I was so enamored with the logs landing flat at height ...
I'd guess fatigue was a factor... tip was definitely dropped a little causing the low back cut... it was ugly...
That's huge.... Like any intense sport, cutting trees has a mental game that almost as important as the physical... I like making every cut intentional, even if it is intentionally lazy ;)
And sometimes it can be intentional to cut through the hinge , it all depends on what is needed... like...
Nice high cutting and log splash... you could edit out most of that back cutting though....
that first cut was particuarly impressive to an east coaster.. you know you're up there when a log that tall lands flat....
