"English" is a term used to describe putting spin on the cue ball when playing pool.. it has been loosly adapted to mean manually adding some sort of movement to a falling limb or top.
side english refers to pushing the butt sideways, as the hinge fails, and the top releases... I made the cut, put the saw down, called for the pull, and pushed with both hands as the piece released..
DO you really think I would have put myself in that position if that limb didn't have side lean away from me? C'mon Sean.. WTF
ps. too much side english put the but into the far shrub, so I NEEDED to handle it personally
