Who wants a screaming deal on a new Boxer 532DX? No 'fools!

It seems like an odd problem to have. There shouldn't be a vacuum on the tank, like Willie said. It should be pressurized or at atm pressure. I thought I had a picture of the first one, but I can't find it. Can you post a current picture?

Didn't mean to imply that you meant malice, only that these are honest issues that are readily handled. I agree fully with your point of archiving information.

I thought yours had a bad connection, Brendon? I agree and disagree with your first point, Chris. This is a sales thread, and in that sense everything should paint the products in the best light. However, every machine will break at some point and having direct, personal access to the dealer...

Diodes can go bad.... if it created an open that could prevent the fan from working and the simple fix would be to replace it. Scott's (Arborworks) Boxer is on the original diode after going on 8 years and 2600 hours.

Oh, I didn't know you took the diode out AND connected the wires back... I will endeavor to remember to send an email to Boxer in the morning asking for a wiring schematic and/or guidance. If the diode was bad, the simple answer is to buy another and solder it in.

All you did was remove the diode and the fan started working again? It seems if the flyback diode crapped out and shorted to ground somehow, it would blow a fuse. If it crapped out open, it would do the same thing as cutting it out. I'm still perplexed by that. If the diode was the issue, it...

Judging by your age, you've been waiting longer than her! The ability for the mini skid to help is amazing. I never started making money until I bought my first one back in 07. I know you have a full size skid, does it go to most jobs or is it left home?

If you have a problem, get in touch with me! Preheat long enough for easy starts, no need to get technical with it. Is your fan running if you turn the key to the on position? (One click to the right, before start)

You can say Tree Buzz here, it's not taboo. The only minis I remember being $10k were the gas Thomas branded machines from 2005 till 2010 or so. Thomas went under as a company. No problem going back and forth on both forums, helps prove I've got my story straight!

For a single point ripper on a mini, I would get a blank mounting plate and a box blade ripper tine. I might also build a tree pusher on it, if that's it's intended application.

I love getting the trees down and sending a guy back with the machine to forward the material out to the street. It doesn't work out on long drags (low ground speed) and mountains of materials it's cheaper to use a larger machine. The Boxer can be moved with nearly any pickup, which means I...
