    Sycamore removal

Not real sure what the problem on their property is. I know all the trees were transplanted from a tree farm with a large spade truck(I guess you call them that) and both the pin oaks tops broke out of them a while back. The birch in the front yard has similar wounds on a few of the larger...

    Sycamore removal

Back on this property again. Cut down the one ugly pin oak in the back. Got called back about another in the front yard. It?s in terrible shape too. I think it needs to come down, but they are really hoping to save it. So I took out all the deadwood and left everything that looks like...

    Sycamore removal

That?s kinda what the owner was thinking. Myself as well. He owns a construction company with all kinds of little excavators etc. I was telling him the cheapest route would probably be to grind the stump and get the roots severed and his guys take over the rest . It?s all going to have...

Thanks for the input. The only stumps I?ve ground were with a rental. And it was hell! It was a self propelled toro 26 hp maybe. I think it would?ve done better without the teeth on it. I?ve thought about having my own set of teeth to use before. I guess you d need a box or two of nuts...

Yep lots of root! I?m looking for someone to do the stumps and chase he roots. No one seems interested. Have even mentioned the owner is willing to pay whatever it takes to get the job done. Just curious what seems like a fair price ? I could rent one but dang I don?t wanna fool with...

All done. Now I?ve got to hunt someone down to grind the stumps. About 75? if you really get out on root flare. Also wanting the roots chased or at least severed so he can try to dig them up with excavator then backfill the whole area

    Sycamore removal

I may have found another good stump guy close to me. I talked to him and he seemed very interested. He is a retired tree guy. Not sure on the size grinder he has but it?s a larger Carlton tracked machine. Prices seemed very reasonable too. So I may give him a go on a few jobs. I?m weighing...

    Sycamore removal

Thanks for the input! What do you guys think about these roots. Customer wants them gone but I told him it would be very expensive. He owns a big construction company. I told him it would be cheaper if his crew could dig them up. And just have the stump ground Both trees are this way

Luckily I don?t think I?m allergic. We saw a lot of it in the mill. Pretty stuff rift and quarter sawn. I know all to well about them being slick. Busted my tail once taking a short cut across some logs while it was raining. Poplar in the early summer when he sap is up and the bark falls...

    Sycamore removal

I have 2 young very healthy sycamores to remove coming up. Anything special to watch out for? It?ll be my first time dealing with one aloft. First one has a 10x15 drop zone. The 2nd is pretty much out in the open.
