    Like tenex? Is it as simple as twisting an opening in the braid and then working the end back into the rope to make an eye, maybe using a fid or pliers or a small string to pull it thru? I know next to nothing about splicing:|:

    Bump. I have only one piece of spliced gear, a large sling for a block, it is real nice but I am mostly a knot guy fwiw. Of course the ABR rings are at their best when spliced into the rope, but has anyone here used them tied into the line rather than spliced?

    Yup , thats what I do. But the more you can easily evolve/adapt/alter your plan, the better

    I redirect often for better angles, less swing. Lotta drama at TB over this product.

    I tend to use a block for a main rigging point and then use a steel biner for a redirect. The biner bend radius isn't great but midline attachable is great. I'll try an ABR for the redirect, for starters. Kind of the opposite of a biner- good radius but not midline attachable. I'm eager to try it.
