I'm just saying I'm happy with my decision. It seems as of late all the big tree's are being done for free anyway, or close there too (just bid $3800, they got a price of 600, just bid $3500, they got a price of 1800). For me big tree's aignt the ticket, hence my question about even getting...

I'm bumping this thread. I'm so glad I ended up going with the blower and the 361 instead of the 660. I find the saw I grab for pretty much everything is the 361. The thing is very light and cuts like a dream with the 20". As you know I put a 28" on the 460 and it pulled through some large...

I ran my 460 today with a full 28" bar through Red Oak. Thing chugged along like nobodys business. Glad I went with the saw and blower instead of the 660. The new 361 kicked ass all day and the BR600 saved me from taking out the rakes. Thanks for the replys!

Ended up with 2 instead of one this morning. 361 with a 20", grabbed a 28" for my 460 (ran out of 25"), and a BR600. Ended up with an extra chain and $40 off . Better than nothing.

Haha, this thread is funny. Someone just called me 5 minutes ago needing a 4' DBH "oak" removed asap.

Haha. But really, thanks for the advice. I think I'm gonna order a MS361 and a BR600 Blower tommorrow.:/: All for the price of the 660.

That's all the info I needed to know. I have a 32" for the 460 for the big guns...but your right--a sharp chain on the 460 does rip.

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe a 361 would be a better bet, and see more use... I cut this pig with a 460.

How often are you guys using your MS660's? I have been getting by so far with a MS460 running a 20". I have some Oaks to do Friday and I am pondering of trying to get the MS660 by then because I just got a big influx of work. Just curious is all!:D
