Finally got around to fixing the eye splice that got loose at the cross over point, and I finally got a dsplice soft fid, made it so much easier. took it apart, reset the cross over point nice and even, and finished the splice, just need to whiplock it and its all good. 11.7 Donaghys Cougar.

spliced up some loopies out of 1/2 sampson double strand tennex with a DMM pinto rig and spacer. made one shorter one for light rigging, and a longer one for drt top tie in, will use the adjustable friction saver with rings for ground set and retrieve. Went to splice in a dead eye in my cougar...

@Mesquite its an arbpro ring, I rekon its near the size of the notch no2 ring, see the pics for model number and specs. Center will take a 16mm/ 5/8 rope, the inner dia is 25mm (edited for typo), going by memory, so 3/4 would get thru it, but I will use it for 5/8 or less as a redirect mainly...

Hi Chaps, spliced up a loopie out of 5mts sampson 12 strand tennex, and then with the other 5mts made an ultra sling with an arbpro ring using 3 brummels 6" eye spacing, ran out of room at the end, so just did 3 brummels and then buried the tail, quick whip lock and burnt the end strands, not...
