    Tapatalk voice recognition posting

Hey, Mick! Congratulations! It has been awhile since I last checked in on this thread, so I'm glad you managed to power through it all and find at least a halfway solution. Even if it doesn't work exactly perfectly, it is just a hoot to watch the technology do its thing. I'm typing this at...

Hey, Mick ! Have you tried to acquire the download for Dragon Dictation ? They seem to imply that it might be difficult to obtain in Europe. Not sure. I don't know why I care so much. I guess I would just like to see you be able to experience it. Tim

It may be that since the article is two years old the software has changed. I do know, however, that an active internet connection is required for any of these voice recognition software programs to work. I'd make sure that your iPad is connected to the internet and then try to navigate to...

One thing people should know about all of these voice recognition programs is that your own device is not what powers them. They rely on servers that are owned and operated by the software companies, I think because it takes that much power to do the job adequately. The net result is that...

Hey, Mick! I'm working off my laptop right now. I did a Bing search on this issue and found this web page that I'm hoping will work for the version of the iOS that you already have. It just involves making a change to settings within the operating system, no software update or software...

Merle Nelson needs to hear about this thread. He owns a Samsung handheld similar to mine. I think he would just love to try this voice recognition software if he knew about it. My bigger problem is with the glitchy way that the Samsung interface works. Tim

Attempting to produce the previous post using the on-screen keyboard would have taken me an hour I did it in about 10 minutes. This post was a mistake. It is a copy of a previous post. I have found myself unable to delete it. SOTC responded to it, though, so I'll just leave it be. Tim

Hey, Mick! I do not own an iPad. Try to see on your on your on-screen keyboard if there is a microphone icon in place of a letter somewhere. That is what my Samsung keyboard did I did not have to download any special software.
