    this is my nothing over 55mph antique 4x4 it has the t18 transfer case with twin stick, front rear pto with stick and overdrive rear output with stick that's 5 levers in total sticking out of the floor when you include the manual gear box lever.

    Well that's exactly what they did, kept 1 tire planted. There once was an aftermarket wheel hub mounted drum for willys jeeps and vertical axis pto shaft driven capstans too.

    check out the quick mount cat head on the tractor hub. This is how the local utility company pulls their service lines into the vault and on to the main panel and disconnect.

    Here is the beast! I got it with the plates and foot switch for $250 I bought the 15" deck cleat for $25 for dogging the load and the 2" receiver insert for $70 Total game changer tool = priceless.

    I highly recommend scouring Craigslist and offerup use the search "winch" or "capstan" set price max at $400 or so Hook up some elevator fools and they will hook you up with squeaky blocks, fuzzy rope and plenty of scrap steel when they're done with a job. The stuff is supposed to be thrown...

    Have you priced a grcs? I bought my capstan for $250 from offerup. I get all the used new England 3/4" 12 braid from elevators when they are done. Often 1000' spools. Free! I can find 5 capstans of varying size right now around $eattle

    Elevator constructors use these every day to hoist rails and whatnot up the shaft during new construction. Mine with my 2200watt Honda powering in beats the pants off manual sailboat winches. Tower guys use these too.
