I'll show him that. He sheared off his humerus, not very humerous, so his 63 year old arm doesn't work the same as the past. Easier would be easier on him.

For him, its occasional. He's retired, and mostly only half logs for me, and himself. Paid by the hour, too. He has steel stakes roughly 2x4, made out of 2 welded 2" square tubes, with a flange to keep it on top of the bed. Wood bed, so he can have boulders loaded by excavator, and dump...

The hoses are good for Both extensions. He will yard logs with chain extensions on the grapple to log at full extension. He can pull in a log of slack quickly, then assistant shortens the chain extension if he can't reach the log. He can reach past his 16' bed. Easier to load from the side...

For the mud pit it became, a little bucket work smoothed it enough for 1" soil turf mix soil, or compost, and seed to be spread, and you'll never know it happened.

Got the pulp hauled. Drove kboom back into what turned into a clay swamp after trying to drive out with a load of pulp or peelers. Had to unload, winch off my pick up and boxer, then drive after over the initial hump onto solid ground, then reload. Not too bad overall, but a hassle we coulda...

That's what cushions are for. Closer than I'd have liked, but if you don't scare things some times, you're hard pressed to make money... Like hopping the lead over the power line, :D

Closer than intended. A funny bounce took up a lot of the cushion.

Dropping spars My 15' cushion, minus a few feet for forward travel off the stump, minus a few extra feet of travel popping off the log on the ground, equals just enough cushion... 2' on 50' of spar,... Maybe 55' of spar

Scared the duplex power and internet lines some. 6-9" tops meant 30-40' pieces. Dropped the tallest to free, into the yard, with a little room to spare. Planted one free dropped log on end, as I couldn't flip it, and maintain forward movement, as the drop zone required. Dropped/ hopped a lead...

Got it done. Well, 3 sticks to pull over and buck to log length tomorrow, and haul out Mini and a bit of this and that. Almost no firewood. 10+ yards of chips blown into a pile onsite, 6"+ diameter logs, 12'+. A couple came up at 10', which is not listed on the log buyers price sheet for pulp...

Doesn't look it, but about 14" on the butt.

You can see the crouch which no longer has the broken leader attached. There is still a bit of a noticeable bump in silhouette.

The middle tree in the last picture is actually farthest away. This is what I did in 2 hours without breaking a sweat, thanks to the Wraptor and APTA.

This is the broken lead from the wind storm with an atlas glove on the end. Blew off from here. I stripped about 30' higher to my TIP, lowering down and piecing out some limbs entangled with the alder. I considered topping down some stuff solo, but figured that cost/benefit was not in my...
