Doesn't seem to be ONE bad diode, though, right? I've been meaning to do that. I just don't want to keep doing that if it will be a chronic problem. Not complicated, but a half man-hour project.

TC: IN5402 http://www.diodes.com/datasheets/ds28007.pdf I think this is the right info, FWIW. I haven't used the Boxer that I can think ofsince taking that out, but yes, connecting the wires that were soldered to the diode, operated the fan in preheat and run. Pruning a lot. Not Boxer work.
