Which motor is in it? My dad gets 17-20 mpg in his C1500 with the 5.3 V8. The fullsize Chevys mileage is as good as most small trucks. But regardless of mileage, the Chevy will be 10X as valuable to you as a work vehicle. Just having a second vehicle capable of towing your chipper is a big deal.

Nice looking truck. And those 7.3 diesels can get 17-18 mpg easily with some minor tweaks. Lots of power available to tow your chipper or mini and dump trailer as well.
