Well, I used a ladder to set my tie in. Figured I'd better innovate a friction hitch to secure the ladder. All I got is skinny poplars in my yard.

I tried 3 wraps and it wasn't grabbing every time. 4 was harder to tie with these sewn eyes but it looks and feels better. I'll try to get motivated to saddle up and load it for real.
