    If you could live with the existing floor and tipping gear, ally plank is pretty straightforward to work with. I've done a couple of trucks in plank now, they look pretty smart and only need bolts and rivets.

    All major roads have to be able to take at least 44 tonne artics, there are some weak bridges, and some restrictions in suburban areas but I can get my rig pretty much anywhere.

    I forget the specs on the turntable, but they are tremendously strong. It's designed for the steering axle of a turntable trailer.

    Yup. Turntable gives me 7 positions to run the chipper in, if i spin it round so the hopper faces the right way I can easily feed it with the crane.

    Chip to one side of the king post. The chip goes under the cross bar, although I might fab up a taller spout so I can throw the chips over the top.

    Good question! Mounted the milling machine on a rolling carriage if I remember correctly, it was a bit of a fiddle!

    Here she is behind my chip/log truck In the transport position. New aluminium chequer belt/tank cover folded and TIG welded. Aerial view off the top of my crane. Few bits to do yet, but at least she's out earning money!
