salt/sand mix around here for roads as far as I know. A lot of places use 'ice melter' now for sidewalks etc, its not salt and it often doesn't tell you what the heck it is in the bag.

Doc, we had about 4 to 6 inches of snow here the other day, went up to 11 C overnight and heavy rain, most snow gone by midday. I am about 2 hours north of the Rotaxian one.
