been quiet the last couple weeks, returned 5 of the 12 voicemails on my phone from teh last couple days, now booked all of next week prior to our friday departure for the cabin over the labour day long weekend. :)
Justin, maybe.
Cursed, it will be a bit of a sacrifice.
Devon, thanks, it will be a change for sure but the trade of security etc will be intersting vs the 'freedom' of self employment.
IF it pans out, the last time I applied for a Muni job I got to the second interview then was told the...
been steady, slowing up right smartly though the last week. I applied for a muni job this morning, I am getting tired of the self employed rat race. $30.42 an hour, 8 hours a day, weekends off, 2 weeks holidays and full bennies is starting to sound attractive. The position is as a cemetery...

still steady for me, mostly small deciduous tree pruning, a few hedges and a few consults. Booked through the end of next week and a few more quotes are out there waiting for a thumbs up.
I generally mail the invoice after the job is done. with installation jobs, its 50% up front. I have been stiffed a couple times but not for huge $. I also have sent stuff to a collection agency just to prove a point AND I have waited for a certain strata manager in the lobby of his office...
