I had the first one. I added suspenders and cut off the back leg straps and couple of other things. It worked fine for me after the changes.

What's your saddle of choice? Its a funny question really because we all have one kind we climb in most of the time but have another that we'd like to buy and try. We're not a very faithful lot. edit: I climb in a Sequoia with the shoulder straps but no Kroll.
